Artist's Comments
Hod. The persona based on the god of winter. The puppet strings are an allusion to his mythological counterpart being controlled by Loki to kill Baldr. The "real Hod" is inside that puppet.
Its Arcana is the Emperor. When magic is cast, Hod opens its "mouth" and shows its true self. When a physical attack is being executed, Hod stabs the enemy with its ice blades. Hod is an unusual Emperor persona as it uses bufu (ice) skills and garu (wind) skills. It learns Ice Break later on, as well as Panta Rhei and Niflheim, the most powerful wind and ice skills. Supposed to be a made up persona based on the Persona... persona. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 19h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
